We are so much more.
More than all the things that we sometimes allow to define us…
We all just need a little reminder sometimes…
We are more than the cars we drive
And the phones we carry
And the jobs we have
And the clothes we wear
And the colour of our skin
And where we live
We are more than our bank accounts
And where we went to school
And how much we weigh
And who we’re friends with…
We are so much more than what it says on Facebook
And perhaps how alone it can feel, looking at the newsfeed and reading about everybody else’s fabulous life…
We are more, and most of us know it, but it can be difficult being so on-line connected while feeling internally disconnected…
But we are more, more in such a crazy-is-coming-and-I-know-it kind of way ☺
Comparing our own lives to the “painted” perfection we see on-line is a sport that none of us should play…
We are capable, inventive, creative and ambitious, industrious, playful, strong and determined… we do not go down easy and even if we do – try and make us stay there…. We are forces of nature who don’t know how to quit and have no plans to do any such thing.
We are all barely just getting started…
And the future is intoxicating…
Better stand back, or you’ll get sparks in your eyes.
Strap on your helmet, put on your sunglasses, fasten your seat belt and Go For It!!
